The Challenge

• Scan:A precise 3D scan of Mr. Kasturi’s residual limb was captured using the AddiScan system, eliminating manual casting altogether.
• Design:The socket was digitally designed in AddiNxT, Addiwise’s proprietary software, incorporating anatomical reliefs and socket trimline optimizations for comfort and stability.
• Print:The final design was printed using AddiPrint HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) technology in medical-grade PA12, resulting in a lighter, structurally stronger socket with a high-quality finish.
